About the Exhibition 2025 - Art Without Borders

In a time marked by both global connectivity and cultural fragmentation, Art Without Borders: Emerging Perspectives presents a timely and vital response through contemporary art. Featuring artists from across the globe, this ambitious exhibition—organized by Pashmin Art (Hamburg) in partnership with the Hongyi Jiuzhou International Culture and Art Centre—offers a profound exploration of art’s role as a mediator between cultures, identities, and perspectives.

Spanning painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, the works presented reflect a rich spectrum of national traditions, personal histories, and artistic vocabularies. Each artist contributes a unique voice to the conversation, rooted in their local contexts yet reaching outward toward a global audience. Together, these voices form a resonant chorus that celebrates difference, nurtures understanding, and encourages a spirit of coexistence.

Central to the exhibition is the interplay between emerging and established artists, whose shared curiosity and creative energy drive the dialogue forward. Their works do not seek to blur boundaries but to explore them—revealing how tension, contrast, and divergence can become sources of insight, empathy, and transformation.

This project continues Pashmin Art’s longstanding commitment to intercultural engagement. For  35 years, the institute has championed exhibitions that foster artistic exchange between East and West. Here in Chongqing, that mission takes form in a vibrant constellation of global perspectives brought into thoughtful alignment.

Ultimately, Art Without Borders is more than an exhibition. It is a meeting ground—where identity, memory, and imagination converge; where bridges are built not only between geographies, but between hearts and minds. In this shared space, the seeds of mutual respect and enduring friendship are sown.

Creativity deserves to be seen. Now, you have the opportunity to be part of our exhibitions. This is your chance.

This is precisely our stated mission

at the ART CENTER EXHIBITION PROJECTS of Pashmin Art Consortia. In collaboration with numerous art museums and centers across the globe, we organize the “Pashmin Art Circulation.” These exhibition initiatives bring together artists from various countries, fostering a rich cultural exchange. The diversity of this exchange is as dynamic and rewarding as the wide array of works on display, spanning painting, sculpture, photography, video art, installations, and more.

Paintings, Sculptures, Photographs

…and other media that showcase selected artists and their unique national and personal artistic languages. Driven by curiosity and a passion to create, these artists offer their individual contributions to the ongoing dialogue.
Each artist has his or her own original, individual artistic vocabulary and personal understanding.
Together, they position themselves on the world map in new locations apart from their home countries as a reminder that we are united — a symbol of love and friendship reflected through culture. In this exchange, both cultures – that of the artist and that of venue visitors – learn from one another, finding common ground and mutual understanding.

Art is essential.

Art holds systematic significance because it sparks our imagination;

the fundamental foundation for developing innovative solutions to future challenges.

The goal of the Pashmin Art Consortia is to foster intellectual and artistic exchange between diverse cultures and to contribute to this exchange in the future. The exhibition will highlight how art plays a crucial role in strengthening friendships across cultures. To truly understand the foreign, one must first learn about its cultural origins, embrace its differences, and, at the same time, recognize the similarities that connect us.
